You Will Need: 

  • 2 cups raw unsalted almonds.

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract.

  • 1 tsp cinnamon.

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg.

  • 1/8 tsp allspice.

  • 1/8 tsp cloves.

  • pinch sea salt.

  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

 

 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven 200 degrees C.

  2. Roast the almonds in a roasting try for 5 minutes.

  3. Allow the almonds to cool for 15 minutes.

  4. In a food processor pulse the almonds until they come together and form the almond butter, this can take up to 5 minutes or more depending on your food processor.

  5. Once your almonds have come together pour in the vanilla and pulse for a further minute.

  6. Add the spices and salt- pulse for one minute.

  7. Add the maple syrup in if you like it sweet and store in a mason jar in the fridge.
